Non-Lethal and Home Defense Strategies, NC Firearms Law, Medical Seminar

Firearms and Self-Defense Law – A requirement for all gun owners, this 4 hr class is a review of the applicable Federal, State, and Local firearms and use of force laws. The class also reviews the 5 elements that must be met when claiming self-defense.

Medical Seminar – This class focuses on basic medical skills that may be required if involved in an active shooter event.  The MARCH protocol is taught as the primary process to assess and quickly treat trauma patients.  The course is taught by a Green Beret combat medic and held at 37PSR in Bunn Level.

Non-Lethal Defensive Strategies – This 4hr class focuses on preventative tools and techniques that can be use by anyone to avoid dangerous situation, deter potential aggressors, and use non-lethal tools to defend against an attack.

Home and Family Defense – This 8 hr class focuses on techniques and strategies to defend yourself and your family against a home invasion.  The 4 hour classroom portion examines ways to deter intruders, make your home less appealing, and tactics to deal with an adversary if they have gained entry.  The class also discusses the constraints and decisions regarding lawful use of  lethal force in a home. The 4 hour range portion introduces the physical challenges one must face when responding to a lethal threat within the home.
