For beginning shooters who want to learn the safe operation of a firearms.
Introduction to Firearms – Designed mainly for the new gun owner but also valuable for current firearms owners, the class focuses on the non-shooting aspects of owning a firearm. Students will learn safe handling techniques for pistols, rifles, and shotguns, the basic operation of pistols, rifles, and shotguns, and how to deal with common ammo and firearms malfunctions. Students will also learn various firearms storage options and proper cleaning and maintenance of firearms. The class is 4 hrs in the classroom.
Basic Pistol 1 – For beginning shooters who wants to learn the safe operation of a pistol. Class covers the basics of purchasing, owning, and properly using a pistol. Instructors will provide .22lr pistols and ammo. Students may bring their own pistol. Students must bring their own eye and ear protection. The class will spend 4 hrs in the classroom and 4 hrs on the range. Minors must be accompanied by parent or legal guardian.
Basic Pistol 2 Marksmanship Training – Follow-on class to Basic Pistol 1 designed to help students practice and ingain the fundamentals necessary for pistol marksmanship. Instructor led class with plenty of practice and personal attention. Recommended for both graduates of Basic Pistol 1 and and experienced shooters who want to hone their marksmanship skills. Students must bring their own pistols and approximatly 200 rounds of ammo. Students must also bring eye and ear protection. Class is 4 hrs on the range. Minors must be accompanied by parent or legal guardian.
Introduction to the Rifle – Designed for students who have not shot a rifle. Class is 3 hrs in the classroom and 1 hr on the range. Students will learn safe operation of a rifle, different types of rifles, ammo and ammo selection, and choosing a rifle based on intended use. Students will have the opportunity to shoot various types of rifles. Students do not need a rifle but must bring eye and ear protection.

Class covers the basics of purchasing, owning, properly using a rifle, various optics and how to zero the rifle. Students will need to bring their own rifle, approximately 200 rounds of ammo, and eye and ear protection. The class will spend 4 hrs in the classroom and 4 hrs on the range. Minors must be accompanied by parent or legal guardian.
Introduction to the Shotgun – Designed for students who have not shot a shotgun. Class is 3 hrs in the classroom and 1 hr on the range. Students will learn safe operation of a shotgun, different types of shotguns, ammo and ammo selection, and choosing a shotgun based on intended use. Students will have the opportunity to shoot various types of shotguns. Students do not need a shotgun but must bring eye and ear protection.
Basic Shotgun – For the beginning shotgun shooter who wants to learn the safe operation of the shotgun and the fundamentals of shotgun shooting. Class covers various shotguns and operation, choosing the right shotgun, shotgun ammo, use of the shotgun as a home defense weapon and other topics. Students will need to bring their own shotgun, approximately 150 rounds of ammo, and eye and ear protection. Class is 4 hrs in the classroom and 4 hrs on the range.
